– A 5-month-old baby who was at the center of an AMBER Alert Wednesday morning has been found safe, Detroit Police tell FOX 2.

Police said Tonya Denise Monique Smith was grabbed out of her mother’s arms at a house on the 19,000 block of Hoover around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday. Police were looking for 21-year-old Michael Hunter, and found him with the baby. He is in custody at this time.

They were found at 7 Mile and Schoenherr. Police say they were apprehended without incident.

Police say Hunter took off with the baby on foot, and that he did not have a car.
