Unity Christian beats Powers for 10th girls soccer state title

EAST LANSING, Mich -- Emily Ponstein made 7 saves and Alexis Ponstein and Alaina VanZalen scored goals as Unity Christian beat Flint Powers 2-0 to win the division 3 girls soccer state championship Saturday at Michigan State University.

The title is the 3rd in a row for the Crusaders who have now won 10 overall.  Unity finishes the season at 22-1-1.
