Police: Body of missing 29-year-old Southfield man found floating in Oceana County lake

GRANT TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The body of a 29-year-old Southfield man was found after he was reported missing during the Lucky Lake Live Festival in Oceana County on Sunday.

It happened on a small lake located at the northwest corner of US-31 and Winston Road in Grant Township.

Fellow campers reported the man missing and police said his vehicle was still parked at the campsite.

Early reports suggest, Matthew Vo, 29, drowned after he was found floating in the water of Lucky Lake late Monday morning, according to a press release from the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation remains ongoing.

    “The Lucky Lake Live Festival” was not the name of the festival. The festival is actually named “Lakes of Fire”
