Missing Ionia County man found

UPDATE: Michigan State Police announced Monday afternoon that Michael Turashoff has been found, alive, near his home.

SEBEWA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Michigan State Police announced Sunday they are searching for a missing and endangered man.

Michael Dennis Turashoff, 47, left his home on Petrie Road in Ionia County’s Sebewa Township during the daylight hours on Thursday and hasn’t been seen since.

MSP said it’s believed he walked away from his home, headed in an unknown direction.

Sebewa Township is located southwest of Portland and east of both Clarksville and Lake Odessa.

MSP is actively investigating his whereabouts and has not had any leads.

Anyone with any information about Turashoff is being asked to call the Michigan State Police Lakeview Post at (989) 352-8444 or Ionia County Central Dispatch at (616) 527-0400.
