Teen, 4-year-old girl injured in NE Grand Rapids shooting

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Police are investigating a shooting on Grand Rapids' northeast side.

Grand Rapids Police tell us that a 17-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl were injured in the shooting, which happened in the area of Leonard and Emerald.

Police say shots were fired at the teen from a vehicle and the girl was also struck by gunfire.  Their injuries are non-life threatening.

We have a crew heading to the scene and we'll have more details when they become available.

    Oooh, that is an additional 2 year prison penalty for not waiting until the weekend, and another two years of probation for shootng on the north side. Not very smart!

    Same general area. But instead of a residence, it’s coward little boys shooting and running away with their parts between their legs like the turds they really are.

      Same general area? It was right in front of the memorial sign! The kid’s bike ended up literally leaning on the memorial sign. It is not just the same general area, it is the exact intersection.
      Not that it means anything, of course.
