Film, music and children’s art events make for a busy summer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-- From independent films, music and farm fresh foods, there are plenty of events to check out around Michigan this summer.

The Traverse City Film Festival takes place July 26th-31st.

A Taste of Summer Event, a farm to table dinner featuring local foods, is put on by the Muskegon Farmers Market and takes place Saturday, July 30th.

The Clare Music Festival happens in downtown Clare (located just north of Mount Pleasant) July 15th and 16th. Friday Night kicks it off with the 4th Street Artisan & Farm Market in the Art Alley, and a Battle of the Bands on McEwan Street.

Then on Saturday, the winning band will open the concert at 6pm. The Relik’s bring some classic tunes that will transport you to another time.

Summer Art Camps at GRAM provides children ages 4 – 13 with the opportunity to experience creativity and innovation in a unique and transformative setting. Upcoming sessions start on July 18th, 25th, and August 1st.
