WEST MICHIGAN-  If you’re like several people that I’ve spoken to over the last several days, you’re looking forward to an end to the humidity.  After days with lots of heat, humidity, and pop up thunderstorms, we’re finally going to get some relief.

Southwest winds have kept us in the tropical air with dew points in the low 70s over the last several days.

This changes as early as this afternoon and continues into the weekend.  Our dew point (measure of moisture in the air) dips quite a bit and moves into the “comfortable” region for the foreseeable future.

A cooler, drier northwest breeze will keep our temperatures in the 70s Friday and allow us a break from the humidity before our next rain chance later in the weekend.

That much drier air will especially be felt in the mornings as our temperatures Saturday and Sunday morning are expected to drop in the middle 50s!  Our next chance of rain arrives later on Sunday evening, so enjoy the comfortable weekend!
