WYOMING, Mich. —  One of the two teens accused in the shooting death of 17-year-old Isaiah Blue was found guilty Thursday.

Mitchell Steven Savickas, 19, was found guilty of murder, three counts of armed robbery and other charges related to the January killing.

Blue, 17, was shot and killed the night of Jan. 27 after he and two others exited a Rapid bus on 44th Street at Rhodes Avenue.

Police say Blue and some friends left the bus and were followed by Savickas and another suspect, 16-year-old Daniel Benavides.

Blue was shot and killed when they tried to rob him.

Savickas is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 3.
