MARSHALL, Mich. — A “major announcement” will be made Wednesday regarding the 2010 Enbridge oil spill, the Justice Department said in a release.

A press conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. in Marshall with the Justice Department and the Environmental Protection Agency.

The announcement is connected to the 2010 spills in Marshall and Romeoville, Ill., according to a release.

An Enbridge pipeline broke in 2010, creating the largest inland oil spill in U.S. history in the Kalamazoo River.
