HUGO, Colo. — The water supply in a Colorado town is tainted with THC, officials warned Thursday afternoon.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is warning Hugo residents not to drink the water, or cook with it or shower in it, according to KDVR.

The sheriff’s office said fresh water is coming.

“Health Officials Law Enforcement Officers, and Emergency Managers are all involved in this situation. Bottled water on the way,” the sheriff’s office tweeted Thursday afternoon.

While a serious situation for Hugo residents, it didn’t stop people from poking fun on Twitter:

This is a developing story.

So pot smokers are told pot is harmless, and neighbors of pot smokers are told that pot fumes coming through the walls (You know, llike the “secondhand smoke” they keep yelling about?) won’t harm them, but the million-fold diluted traces of THC that might be in the drinking water are so dangerous that the people are being told it’s a serious situation and they CAN’T EVEN TAKE SHOWERS?

    What’s wrong with this picture?

YOU MORONS!!!!!! THC is not water soluble. Furthermore, all human bodies produce their own THC…. so, it would only make sense that there would be traces of THC EVERYWHERE…. just not IN the water… since that is not possible, Of course, the microorganisms in the water, as well as all other living beings, most certainly contain (and produce their own) cannabinoids. Get a clue, Americans… you are stupid.
