Former Covert Twp. officer charged with sexual assault

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. – A former Covert Township police officer has been charged with sexual assault.

Eric Fritz turned himself in to authorities Friday morning, according to officials.  He is charged with sexual assault and kidnapping.

The police chief tells FOX 17 the allegations stem from an incident on July 9.  Fritz resigned shortly after Michigan State Police started their investigation.

    I hope the prosecution looks at Erich’s comments on “”. He goes by Ericf517 .Erich’s behaviour is what many would consider to be unstable by his wild comments and opinions. Many of his wild remarks were deleted by the moderator but should be something the prosecution could subpoena to make a case.
