Police search for armed robbery suspect in Holland; clerk assaulted

HOLLAND, Mich. — Police are asking for help in finding an armed robbery suspect.

The robbery happened Friday  around 12:10 a.m. at a store in the 1100 block of Lincoln in Holland.  Holland Police said the suspect assaulted the female clerk several times as she closed the store, demanded money from the safe and forced her and another person to the back of the store.


The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6,’ and medium build. He took off in a black or dark colored 4-door vehicle driven by a  second suspect, according to a press release from Holland Police.
