Technology plays a huge role in our everyday lives, and for patients at Spectrum Health Center for Acute Rehabilitation, it helps with the recovery process.

One of those machines is the Armeospring System, which helps patients regain the use of their arms after stroke, traumatic brain and amputation injuries.

The machine immerses the patient in more evveryday tasks, like picking produce or cooking on the stove.

Similar to the Biodex Bodyweight Treadmill System, the Armeospring System adjusts up or down, depending on the patient's progress.

This machine has an added benefit for patients requiring positive reinforcement.

The Center for Acute Rehabilitation is located at 1840 Wealthy Street Southeast. For more information on their treatments, call them at (616) 774-5300.
