Power restored to 5000+ Consumers customers after storms

Power outages around Kent County on Sunday.

KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Power has been restored to more than 5,000 Consumers Energy customers who were left without electrical service after strong rains inundated West Michigan on Sunday morning.

The outages were spread out across various areas within Kent County.

All the areas shown had estimated restoration times of 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

Surrounding counties fared better, with few or no power outages there.
