WEST MICHIGAN - A little boy living with an incurable disease is finding new freedom in a handicap accessible lift van given by a group called Lori's Voice.

Braydon Janetzke, 6, is living with Muscular Atrophy, a condition deteriorating his muscles. Thanks to the life-changing work at Lori's Voice, known for helping families with special needs, the Janetzkes are celebrating a second chance.

"This will help us to take him to do the things that everybody does, a normal life, and do as much as he can to be able to participate in events and things kids like to do," said Janetzke's mom, Christina.

Fundraising efforts led by Lori's Voice and the Janetzkes helped pay for the nearly $50,000 van in full. Dave and Lori Hastings, Co-Founders of Lori's Voice, say blessing families in need is exactly what the non-profit is all about.

"This is a family that they didn't want to ask for help, this family is in a situation that's completely out of their control," said Hastings. "They didn't want to ask for a van, nobody should be asking for a handicap van. That's a true need."

This is the 5th van given away by Lori's Voice and the 60th family helped by the non-profit this year alone. If you would like to open your hearts and your wallets, Lori's Voice will be hosting a Ball Fling Sept. 10 where you can donate, dance, and fling the night away.
