WEST MICHIGAN-  Rainfall totals in West Michigan over the last 24 hours have shown the ultimate definition of “scattered storms.”

The highest rain totals from yesterday ranged over 2 inches in many locations.  Some of you may not have received much rain, if any at all.  These scattered storms and this pattern will continue.

A picture of the radar from this morning has also shown how scattered the rain has been so far.  This will likely continue through Saturday.

Don’t expect an all day rain, but scattered storms are possible through the entire day.  As was the case yesterday, we’ll see the potential for storms to produce very heavy rainfall in a short amount of time, as they’re not moving quickly at all.
