GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Senator Tim Kaine, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, will be visiting Grand Rapids Friday.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign announced Tuesday that Kaine will be on hand to open a Michigan campaign office at 1146 Wealthy Street SE on Friday, August 5, at 5:00 p.m.

Kaine’s stop will be part of his week-long “jobs tour” touting Clinton’s presidential plans for the economy.  The doors open at 4:00 p.m.

Last week, GOP VP nominee Mike Pence visited Grand Rapids the week after the Republican convention.

Kaine’s visit is one week after the completion of the National Democratic Convention in Philadelphia.
