2.5 million Starbucks straws recalled after children suffer cuts to mouth

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of 2.5 million stainless steel drinking straws from Starbucks, after several children suffered cuts to the mouth.

Starbucks Stainless Steel Straws — The reusable stainless steel Cold-to-Go straws are rigid and can poke children in the mouth, posing a risk of injury. About 2.5 million are impacted in the U.S.  The firm has received three reports of mouth lacerations to young children while drinking.
