Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to visit Detroit Monday

DETROIT — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will be making a stop in Michigan next week.

The Detroit Economic Club wrote on Facebook that Trump will speak Monday, August 8th at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.

The event is set to start at noon. Tickets will be available on their website later today.

His running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, visited Grand Rapids last week.

The Detroit Economic Club is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that discusses and debates social issues, business, and government, according to their website.
