Man, 28, charged with robbing Holland pizza delivery person

HOLLAND, Mich. — A 28-year-old man has been charged after allegedly robbing a pizza delivery person and shooting at a witness.

Aaron Xavier Johnson is charged with armed robbery in the Saturday incident at the Meadow Lanes complex in the 300 block of Norcrest.   Police say a Domino’s Pizza delivery person made a delivery and was approached from behind and robbed with a handgun.

A witness saw Johnson’s vehicle driving recklessly from the area of the robbery, followed them and called 911, according to a release from Holland Police.

Police say the suspect opened fire at the witness in the 800 block of Myrtle and then fled on foot.  He was later taken into custody in the area.

Johnson could face additional charges for the shots fired incident, according to a release from Holland Police.  No injuries were reported.
