KALAMAZOO, Mich. - A man continues to recover from a dog attack two weeks later, and police are still looking for the owner of the dog that was responsible.

Ron Bardo was on a bike ride a couple of blocks from his home when he was knocked over and attacked by what witnesses described as a medium-sized brown and white pitbull with a spiked collar.  Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded, rescuing Bardo and shooting and killing the dog.

Bardo is undergoing physical therapy, but doctors say they don't expect him to have full use of his arm for another two months, if at all.  Bardo says he's just glad to be alive, but is disappointed that no one has come forward to take responsibility and claim it was their dog.

If you know anything about the dog that attacked Bardo, call Kalamazoo Public Safety at 269-337-8120.
