JAMESTOWN TWP., Mich. — A couple was taken to the hospital in stable condition following a car versus motorcycle accident Thursday night.

It happened just before 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of Adams St. and 32nd Ave.

Deputies say a car being driven by a 17-year-old didn’t see the motorcycle and ended up turning into it. Both riders were thrown from the bike. Neither were wearing helmets.

The two in the car weren’t hurt. But the 17-year-old driver was ticketed for failing to yield.

Fucking bs he got ONLY a ticket. There should be harsher penalties! !!! This is happening way to often. Phones, not paying attention. So on. Once there becomes harsher penalties msybe people will pay more attention.

Couldn’t agree with you more. These people hitting bikers, turning in front of them , slamming their brakes in front of them causing then to lay it down and the same excuse everytime is “I didn’t see them” and they get away with a damn ticket . If your paying attention , you can see the motorcycles, problem is , people aren’t paying attention and just don’t care and it’s getting out of control .
