JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 50-year-old woman was taken to the hospital Saturday after police say she drove off the road and collided with an embankment.
The accident happened about 4:00pm at the intersection of Dailey Rd and Deerfield Ln.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says the woman was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash and alcohol does does not appear to have played a role.
The extent of the woman’s injuries are not known.
Deputies say they’re still investigating the crash.
