The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is reminding hunters this morning that applications for antlerless deer licenses have to be in by today.

Hunters can apply for one license in any designated area throughout the state.

There's a $5 fee at the time.

You can apply online at e-license or any DNR Customer Service Center.

Starting September 1 you can see drawing results and any leftover license availability here.

Left-over licenses will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis starting September 8.


Some might be on the hunt for a last minute ticket! One of the biggest legends in music is performing in West Michigan tonight.

Paul McCartney is playing at the Van Andel Arena, as part of his "One-On-One" tour.

It'll be his first time performing in the city. He's expected to perform for nearly three hours, with songs spanning his entire career.

According to Ticketmaster, there aren't many tickets left, and prices range from $29-50 to $253.

The show starts at 8 p.m.


And in case you missed this over the weekend, Bell's Brewery's "Octoberfest" is returning to the bottling line for the first time in five years.

According to reps it will debut in 12-packs of 12 ounce bottles when it starts shipping later this month.

The brewery will also feature a refreshed logo on the packaging as well.

Fans say the Marzen-style beer is smooth and highly drinkable with a dry toasted malt note without too much sweetness.


When you hear about deep fried Twinkies, you might immediately think county fair. That is after you think "yummy!" but you won't need to go to the fair to get them when you want them.

Starting tomorrow you can buy them at Walmart. Hostess has teamed up with the retail giant to sell the Twinkies in the frozen foods aisle.

According to CNN, there are two flavors, original, and chocolate. There are seven deep fried treats in each box.

An official with Walmart wrote about the snack on the company's blog, and said the Twinkies are a “sometimes” food that is so good they're worth the calories.


It will be an especially memorable Olympic competition for an athlete from China.

After He Zi earned silver in the women's three-meter springboard, the Olympic diver accepted a marriage proposal from her boyfriend.

Fellow diver Qin Kai asked for her hand in marriage as she stepped off the medal podium Sunday.

You can see he opened a box with a ring inside, took it out, and slipped it on her finger after she nodded yes. He also gave her a red rose encased in glass.
