PORTAGE, Mich. — A crash involving a motorcycle and a car closed Westnedge Avenue in Portage for about two hours Tuesday night.
The crash took place on S. Westnedge Avenue between Kilgore Road and I-94 around 7:42 p.m., according to the Portage Department of Public Safety. The driver of the car pulled onto Westnedge into the path of the motorcycle, which was northbound.
The rider, a 21-year-old Portage man, was killed, while the occupants of the car were unhurt. He has been identified as Navjot Singh.
