Annual ‘Mini Maker Faire’ offers hands on scientific exploration

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Part science fair, part county fair, the 3rd annual Mini Maker Faire at the Grand Rapids Public Museum gives you a chance to get hands on with science and crafts of all types.

Saturday and Sunday, you can experience family-friendly celebration featuring rockets and robots, DIY science and technology, urban farming and sustainability, alternative energy, bicycles, unique hand-made crafts, local food, and educational installations.

The event is free for members of the museum and for nonmembers, the cost is $8 for adults, $3 for children and $7 for seniors.
