Must-have items moms should add to their baby registry

The traditional baby registry is getting a big make-over, it's not just bottles, diapers, and pacifiers anymore.

BabyList is a registry website to help make it easier to get all the needs for a baby, and mom too! Moms can register for gifts from anywhere, all in one place.

Items don't have to be limited to the traditional objects, moms can register for things like a family membership to the zoo, the children's museum, and even cash funds.

Emily Richett from Richett Media, showed off some modern picks for moms-to-be to put on their registry.

Nook is a modern take on the nursing pillow. It's breathable, so it's safe for your baby in case they roll over. They make natural, breathable crib mattresses too.

Lorena Canals Washable Rugs

A washable nursery rug made from natural, safe materials. When the inevitable stains show up on the rug, just throw it in the washing machine, and fluff it in the drier.

Milestone Baby

It's the modern version of a baby book; cards document all the big milestones during a baby's first year. Take the card, and take a picture of the baby with it. there's also a toddler version to store lots of photos.
