South Haven liquor store robbed at gunpoint

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. — South Haven Police are searching for a suspect who they say robbed the Quick Stop Liquor Store, 651 Phillips St.

The armed robbery happened at about 9:25 p.m. Monday.   Police said in a press release that a man pointed a gun at two customers and then at the clerk.  He stole money and then fled the area.

Investigators believe the robbery is connected to a similar one that also happened Monday night in Dowagiac.  The Marathon gas station at 801 Spruce St. was robbed at gunpoint at about 10:41 p.m.
