Kevin Matthews is known in Grand Rapids and throughout the Midwest as one of the top names in radio. Since his diagnosis with multiple sclerosis back in 2008, his life has taken a new turn.

"Broken Mary" is his story of his early years in radio and stand-up comedy, his successful career, his struggle with multiple sclerosis, and his awakening to the dignity of women. But more importantly, his encounter with a broken statue of Mary left next to a dumpster and the adventure that followed that changed his life for the better..

With the story told through his sense of humor, it's a journey of hope and inspiration to those who find themselves broken.

Now he sits down with Todd on the Morning Mix to talk more details about his new book, and where his life is going since he took up the project.

"Broken Mary: A Journey of Hope" is now available at Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
