West Michigan officers doing good in the community

WEST MICHIGAN – The prevalence of social media in our lives tells us many things…some good, some bad.  But one thing we’ve noticed recently here is that West Michigan has some very nice law enforcement officers.

Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers were caught entertaining a one-year-old girl while assisting on a medical call last Friday.

Ionia Department of Public Safety Officers were called to an apartment complex for rowdy kids.  They found them, but they weren’t being rowdy…they just needed a quarterback.  Click here to see the video.

And in Grand Rapids, a Rocket football player was collecting stickers from law enforcement agencies to pay tribute to their hard work.  And, GRPD helped out! Click here to see that video.

If you have a law enforcement officer you’d like to recognize, nominate them for Police Officer of the Year, sponsored by AmeriGas, or for a Pay It Forward Person of the Month.
