OK Red rivalry leads week 4 of the Blitz

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich —  Grandville (3-0) travels to Hudsonville (3-0) in what will be the game of the week on Friday night.  The Bulldogs have outscored their opponents 149-22 in the three blowout wins this season.  Hudsonville has already earned impressive wins over solid programs in Grand Ledge (21-14) and East Kentwood (25-18).  In the last ten meetings each school has won five times with neither winning more than two in a row, Grandville has won the last two games.

“It’s a great opponent, we haven’t really been tested this year so I am excited to go out there see what the team has” Grandville senior linebacker Connor Fischer said.  “I know we are a good team this year and I think we have what it takes.”

Zeeland West (3-0) meets Unity Christian (3-0) in the Blitz Battle, it’s the fourth straight week that the Dux opponent entered the game without a loss.  Unity gave West its toughest playoff test (28-21 in regional final) on the Dux way to a division 4 state championship last season.

South Christian (2-1) visits Grand Rapids Christian (3-0) as the rivalry adds a new chapter with the schools meeting for the first time in series history in  conference game, both teams are 1-0 in the OK Gold this season.
