Victim in Grand Rapids homicide identified

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The victim of a homicide from earlier this week in the Black Hills neighborhoodof Grand Rapids has been identified.

Brice Jackson, 27, was found in the 800 block of Oxford Street SW with several gunshot wounds.  He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police have interviewed witnesses who say they heard multiple gunshots at about 10:30pm Wednesday night.  No arrests have been made.

The preliminary suspect description given by investigators at the scene is a black male, approximately 5’5″, 125 pounds who was last seen wearing dark clothing.
