WYOMING, Mich. — Authorities are looking for the person they believe started a fire by throwing a Molotov cocktail into the Destiny Dental store in the Rogers Plaza shopping mall Saturday morning.

The Wyoming Department of Public Safety says that at 7:50 a.m. Saturday a white man in his 30s with a stocky build and short dark hair broke out the front door window of the store and threw a Molotov cocktail inside, starting a fire.

The business was closed at the time.

The fire was extinguished quickly and caused minimal damage to the business. The building didn’t experience any structure damage.

Police don’t have anyone in custody. They say the suspect left the scene in a black Pontiac Grand Prix with an unknown license plate.

Anybody with any information about the incident is being asked to contact Wyoming Public Safety at (616) 530-7300 or Silent Observer at (616) 774-2345.
