Two people stabbed outside Kentwood apartment

KENTWOOD, Mich. — Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after being stabbed outside a Kentwood apartment complex on Saturday night.

Kentwood police on scene said the stabbing happened shortly before 9:00 p.m. at the complex in the 2700 block of Castle Bluff Court Southeast.

Authorities confirm to FOX 17 two people were stabbed in the parking lot outside the apartments. Police said the two victims ran into their apartment after being stabbed.

The suspect was apprehended nearby in his apartment, according to police.

It is unclear what led up to the altercation but police on scene told FOX 17 all three individuals knew each other.
