Twine pumpkins will spruce up your home for Fall

Sticking with the theme of pumpkins for Craft Corner this month, our next pumpkin will be made out of twine. Here's what you need:

  • Stiff twine
  • Scissors
  • Cinnamon stick (or a regular stick)
  • Piece of tape
  • A cylinder or tube (at least 12-15 inches long)

Take the cylinder and tape the end of twine on one end of the tube. Wrap the twine tightly around it until most of the pipe is covered.

Cut the twine, then take the taped end of the twine and place it on the wrapped twine. Grab onto the twine and pull it off the tube, but make sure you hold the twine together in it's wrapped shape.

Once you have your ring of twine, pull the taped end through the ring and tie it together. Once the twine is tied tight, pull around the ring to make a pumpkin shape. Then stick a cinnamon stick in the middle of the twine for the stem.
