Cooler temperatures on the way for West Michigan

WEST MICHIGAN — It was a warm start to fall today, but cooler temperatures are expected for the weekend and into next week.

Tomorrow will remain mostly cloudy with just a slight chance of showers and highs in the lower 70s.

The weekend will remain mostly cloudy but mainly dry. Highs will be in the lower 70s with lows in the mid 50s. Our best chance of sunshine will be Sunday.

Another system will move into the Great Lakes on Monday with a chance of showers and a few thunderstorms. Highs will stay around 70.

Much cooler air arrives for the rest of the week with plenty of clouds and highs in the low-mid 60s. Some computer models are even cooler with highs on Tuesday and Wednesday only in the 50s.
