LAKETON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A West Michigan man is installing security cameras on his property after he says his signs supporting Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump were taken.
Dan Vandam says a total of seven 'Vote for Trump' signs have been taken, four of them on Thursday. The signs aren't cheap; Vandam says he's already spent more than $200 on them.
He said the stolen signs won't rob him of his political pride.
"When they take one I'll put up tow, if they take two I'll put up four," Vandam said. "And now they've taken four so I bought more, and I'll probably get a bigger one and put up lights and banners."
Tired of losing his property, Vandam is also installing security cameras. He also said he's also filed a report with the Muskegon County Sheriff's Department.

Rub poison ivy all over the signs as a gift to the thieves. Run heavy weight fishing line as a trip wire 6 inches above the ground. Put dog crap all over the area. There are lots of surprises you can set up for them.

@Common cents, Your reply is hilarious! Thank you for the laugh today- :o)
However, it just seems that he is over reacting to the thefts of free signs..
If it were me, I would be more concerned that the person(s) taking the signs feel its okay to go onto someones property. Plus, isn’t the object of the game to catch the thieves by not letting them know you have a camera/security system? Especially big cameras like that pictured..JMO
