12 vehicle break-ins reported in Ottawa County overnight

SPRING LAKE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police are reminding drivers to lock their vehicles after a string of break-ins overnight in Ottawa County.

Police received 12 calls on Saturday of people reporting stolen cash and electronics from unlocked vehicles, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

The thefts were reported in Spring Lake Township in the area of Fruitport Road and Apple Drive near Hickory Road.

Authorities have no leads on potential suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call Ottawa County Dispatch at 1800-249-0911 or Silent Observer at 1877-887-SILENT.
