Police say 26-year-old Jeremy Carlson remains in the hospital with a head injury after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver last Saturday.

Carlson was riding westbound on 36th street shortly after 1:15 a.m. Saturday September 17 when he was struck while trying to cross Broadmoor Avenue.

The vehicle continued northbound on Broadmoor Avenue following the accident. Kentwood police believe the car is a 1999-2003 Mitsubishi Galant with damage to its passenger side.

Police say they are interested in speaking with the driver of a yellow vehicle that was reportedly following the Galant and may have witnessed the crash.
