Police: Man killed in rollover crash in Wyoming

WYOMING, Mich. — A man is dead after police say his vehicle was hit by another vehicle that ran a stop a sign Saturday morning.

Around 9:30 Saturday morning, a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old Wyoming woman was headed west on Plaster Creek. That driver ran a stop sign while turning south on Buchanan Avenue SW, Lt. Mark Easterly with Wyoming police told FOX 17.

Police say the woman hit a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV being driven by 29-year-old Bernardo Diaz-Martinez. The impact of the crash flipped the Tahoe onto a minivan that was following behind on Buchanan Avenue.

Diaz-Martinez was killed.

Drivers in the other two vehicles suffered minor injuries.

Buchanan at Plaster Creek were shut down for much of the afternoon for accident reconstruction. Drivers were advised to avoid the area.
