GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The pressure of begin part of the perfect wedding as matron of honor multiplied for Nicole Sevensma after she dropped off her dress at a Grand Rapids area business to be altered. The day she was scheduled to pick the dress, she walked up to the door to find a sign that said the business was closed for several days due to a medical emergency.

With no way to get a hold of the owners of Kim and Kim Alterations to get her dress back, Nicole turned to the FOX 17 Problem Solvers.

Shortly after The Problem Solvers aired her story on Tuesday, Nicole got a phone call from the owner's daughter.

“Her daughter was quick to respond, very nice" Nicole said. "Obviously her family is going through an unfortunate situation with her mom. Their mind is there with that."

But she isn’t ruling out a future visit.

“They had great reviews online, her prices were extremely good, and, you know, unfortunately this was my first experience with her, it seems like she does great business, so we’ll see."

Nicole said the dress was never altered as planned because of the emergency, so she is rushing to find a tailor twho can get the work done by the end of the weekend.
