SHERWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A second person involved in a crash at M-60 and M-66 on Friday has died, according to police.

Alexis Schroeder, 19, of Valparaiso, Ind., passed away Sunday morning, according to a press release from Michigan State Police.

Police say Schroeder was driving  a 2008 Chevrolet Cobolt, failed to yield and was struck by a semi-truck Friday evening.  The crash killed her passenger, Corrine Johns, of Porter,  Indiana, at the scene. The semi-truck reportedly crashed into the driver’s side of the car, trapping both Schroeder and Johns inside.

Aaron Good, 28, of Union City, was the driver of the semi and was not injured. Authorities said Good is employed with MDT Trucking Company out  of Coldwater.
