MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — A man from Muskegon is behind bars after being accused of raping a boy and lying to authorities.
Kyle Kerbersky, 27, was arraigned last week on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a boy under 13 and lying to police during a violent crime investigation. Both are felonies.
Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Tim Maat says Kerbersky is alleged to have raped a child relative of his several times between October and November of last year.
Kerbersky is also accused of lying to a Michigan State Police trooper during their investigation.
If convicted on the CSC charge, Kerbersky faces potential life in prison.
His bond is set at $75,000 and is due back in court Oct. 13.
