HOLLAND, Mich. — The Holland Department of Public Safety said Wednesday that Matt Stilwell was named Reserve Officer of the Year at the department’s annual reserve banquet.
The department said in a release that Stilwell “is always willing to help out and has earned the respect of other reserves and supervisors.”
He was nominated by his peers “for his professionalism, great attitude, teamwork and humbleness,” the release said.
Stilwell lives in Holland with his wife and children.
