Police: Man wearing mask robs Subway at gunpoint

ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police are looking for a suspect who they say robbed a Subway restaurant at gunpoint Saturday evening.

It happened at the Subway restaurant located in the 5300 block of Alpine Avenue NW just before 5:00 p.m. Police say a black man entered the store with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect is  described as being approximately 5’8 and was last seen wearing black pants with white striping around the knee area and a black sweatshirt, according to a press release from the Kent County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say the suspect was wearing a white mask over his face. He is believed to have taken off in a white  colored four-door sedan.
