KALAMAZOO, Mich. – A Kalamazoo high school student has been charged with making threats as a clown at two schools.

Jalen Williams, 17, was arraigned Monday on counts of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime and Attempted Making of a False Report or Threat of Terrorism.  The first charge carries a possible penalty of seven years in prison and the second carries a possible penalty of four years in prison.

Williams allegedly made the Facebook post on October 6th, from an anonymous account using a creepy clown photo, that he’d be “shooting up kc or norrix…or both.”  He was arrested on the morning of October 7th.

Williams is a student at Loy Norrix HS.
