POTTERVILLE, Mich. — Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.

At 2:59 p.m. Saturday, the Potterville Police Department and Eaton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traffic accident with injuries at the intersection of Hartel and Vermontville in Potterville. The preliminary investigation indicates that a 2012 Honda Civic was eastbound on Vermontville and failed to yield to a 2008 Dodge Caliber that was northbound on Hartel. The two vehicles collided in the intersection, the Civic was pushed over and struck a stopped 2006 Escape.

The Dodge was occupied by only the driver while the other two vehicles contained four people each.

The Pottervile Fire Department, Eaton Area EMS, Benton Township EMS and Windsor EMS responded to evaluate all nine occupants, including four children. Three adults were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation by the Potterville Police Department.
