MUSKEGON, Mich. -- A haunted car wash in Muskegon is giving thrill seekers quite the fright.
Van's Car Wash & Quick Lube, 2226 E. Apple Avenue, is transforming their business in the spirit of Halloween. The team has blacked out the windows,
"It's a haunt, a scare, a good time," said Don Steele, Van's District Manager. "We wait for it to get dark so it's really scary in the tunnel. We're going to have strobe lights and actually have people in costume jumping out and saying 'boo!'"
The second annual haunted car wash runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 26 through Oct. 29. The cost is $10, and all proceeds go to Muskegon's Rescue Mission.
"We wanted and tried to decide to do something different," Don said.
There is another haunted car wash in Hesperia. The Hesperia Soft Cloth Car Wash on Division Street is charging $10 per car through Halloween.
