No overseas football this week, so hopefully no more ties either, so the regular Sunday morning and afternoon NFL schedules play out as planned.
Sunday Mass from St. Andrews in Grand Rapids is back on at 10:00am, followed by Lions Game Day at 11:00am and Fox NFL Sunday at noon, leading up to our regional coverage of the Detroit Lions taking on the Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis at 1 p.m. The game will be called by Kenny Albert and Daryl Johnston.
CBS has the doubleheader this week. The West Michigan market will get Pittsburgh at Baltimore at 1:00pm, followed by the national game of Indianapolis at Green Bay, brought to you by Jim Nantz and Phil Simms at 4:25pm.
The Lions have next week off and all three NFC North teams (Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota) are on the road and playing at 1:00pm, so we’ll see where Fox Network’s dart falls as to see which game we get at 1:00pm next week.
