DeVos Children’s Hospital fellowship programs train next generation of pediatric specialists

Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is training the next generation of pediatric specialists and researchers. In collaboration with Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, the fellowship programs continue to expand.

Helen DeVos Children's Hospital offer special programs from pediatric oncology, the very first fellowship program, to critical care medicine, palliative care, and hospitalist medicine.

Having fellowship programs help insure that previous, scarce pediatric specialists will be available at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital will into the future. When fellowships turn into actual jobs, DeVos knows that the best and the brightest young children's specialists will continue to be available to the kids and families in the community.

Fellows are chosen for the programs by applying online, and then the candidates are individually interviewed to see if they'll be a good fit at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
